The DayZ 2017 mod takes place several years after the original mod. As a result, already scarce resources have become incredibly hard to find. High-powered assault rifles are nonexistent and vehicles are limited to Mad Max style cars.
What weapons, vehicles and player clothing that are left, have been reworked and deliberately aged.
DayZ 2017 was originally based on the Mod:Celle map and has been ported to Mod:Namalsk as well.
The mod is currently being updated by an anonymous contributer
