The 30rd Coupled Standardized Mag is a firearm magazine for the M4-A1 in DayZ. It no longer spawns due to the introduction of the 60rd Standardized Mag but remains in the files.
Overview[]
Providing the highest capacity of ammunition for the M4-A1, and second highest in the game behind the 75rd KA-M Drum Mag, this magazine was highly sought after in PVP, especially when raiding bases and attacking squads of survivors. It could only previously be found at Helicopter crash sites.
Trivia[]
- The two magazines are coupled together using a metal magazine clamp, to enable quick and fluid reloading in the real world.
- The in-game functionality of this coupling is impossible, as the object acts as a single 60 round magazine, rather than two magazines with 30 rounds and a short reload time.
