The 40mm PO-X Grenade is a type of grenade that can be fired from a M79 grenade launcher.
Upon impact, or by getting destroyed in other ways, the grenade will produce a thick cloud of PO-X gas that can cause a Gas Poisoning to unprotected survivors. The 20 meters wide and 3 meters high cloud, identical to the one created by a PO-X Vial, will linger around for 6 minutes before dissolving.
Although the 40mm PO-X Grenade is much more durable than the PO-X Vial (5 vs. 50 durability), it too can become ruined by damage inflicted to its carrier, causing a release of the toxic gas.
