Trivia

  • The 9mm ammunition is based on the real world 9×19mm Parabellum rounds. It was developed by Georg Luger for the German Luger P08 semi-automatic pistol in 1902. The rounds had the designation "Parabellum" adjacent to it, from the latin phrase "Si vis pacem, para bellum" which was latin for: "If you seek peace, prepare for war". After World War I the 9×19mm cartridge became popular and used by many armies and police agencies. Today the 9x19mm is one of the most popular pistol and SMG cartridges used world wide.
