The AUG, a bullpup automatic rifle, is a selective fire weapon with a conventional gas piston operated action that fires from a closed bolt. It can be quickly adapted to a wide variety of roles with the change of the barrel to a desired length and profile, the AUG is a modular configuration rifle that employs a high level of polymer and advanced alloy components.
The AUR A1 (Armee-Universal-Gewehr - "universal army rifle"), pronounced Schteyer ay-yu-gee, is an Austrian-developed and manufactured bullpup assault rifle chambered for the intermediate 5.56x45mm round. Introduced in 1977, the AUG A1 features a built-in 1.5x magnification scope by Swarovski Optik. It features a range finding reticle. The receiver of the rifle is mounted into a polymer body housing. Barrel change is done quickly by pressing in a barrel release nub, twisting the barrel assembly, and pulling straight out. The gun is similar to the M4A1 but without the variety of attachments.
The dispersion of the AUR A1 is equal to an M4A1 with no attachments, is zeroed to 300m, and has relatively high recoil. It is not yet fully implemented.

The only two attachments the rifle has as of version 0.54 is the NATO and impovised suppressors.
