The Assault Helmet is a Helmet in DayZ.
Overview[]
The Assault Helmet is a military-grade combat helmet, offering a very high degree of protection against projectiles, blunt force trauma, and Infected attacks.
It can also attach an Assault Helmet Visor. It should be noted that the visor offers no additional protection, while increasing the wearer's target profile. Installing it is ill-advised outside of roleplay scenarios.
Due to graphical artifacts, the visor texture can noticably flicker when viewed from long distances, possibly revealing the wearer.
