== Overview ==
The {{PAGENAME}}, is one of the most common firearms in Chernarus and is likely a survivors first non-pistol firearm. Mostly found in the police stations across Chernarus, it's a powerful starting weapon. The {{PAGENAME}} can use both [[12ga 00 Buckshots]] and [[12ga Rifled Slugs]] as well as [[12ga Rubber Slugs]] as ammunition.<br />While equipped with '''12ga 00 Buckshots''', you can 1 shot almost any survivor when they're closer than 25m. '''12ga 00 Buckshots''' can 1 shot knock out any survivor (including survivors with armor) due to the high shock damage value on the shells, up to 25m. Dealing a massive 280 shock damage with all pellets landing, almost 4 times the shock you need to knock a survivor out at 75. The '''12ga Rifled Slugs''' have better precision, with the added benefit of higher damage at longer ranges compared to the '''12ga 00 Buckshots'''. Making the '''12ga Rifled Slugs''' capable of 1 shot killing a survivor up to a range of 50m. '''12ga Rifled Slugs''' can 1 shot knock out any survivor (including survivors with armor) due to the high shock damage value on the shells, up to 50m. The '''12ga Rubber Slugs''' have the ability to knock out a survivor in 1 shot as they do a massive 150 shock damage (double the value to knock a survivor out at 75), making it a good round for taking hostages and taking out survivors you don't trust. The bullet speed is a 4th of what it was in 1.11, so you might have difficulty hitting survivors at ranges surpassing 25m<br />It can also be equipped with a [[Mini Sights|Mini Red Dot]] sight for added precision, which gives you a better sight picture at greater ranges.
