Bitterlings are an animal in DayZ, living in the lakes and rivers of Chernarus. It can be caught using a Small Fish Trap or Fish Net Trap.
Bitterlings can be used as a source of food, although it is possible that eating them raw would make you sick with Poisoning. Due to their size, they cannot be skinned or prepared like the other fish.
