Bolt is a type of Crossbow ammunition in DayZ. It is a manufactured bolt with a modern steel broadhead tip for big-game hunting.
Gameplay[]
A pristine Bolt can be shot 12 times before becoming ruined. It is better in every way to the improvised bolts but is not craftable. It can one shot players up to 60 meters, assuming they aren't wearing protective equipment. If hit by a bolt it is possible to remove it by bandaging, allowing yourself to use the same bolt.
