The CR-527 is a bolt-action rifle in DayZ. Able to use the Hunting Scope and fed from a detachable 5-round magazine, the CR-527 is a mid-game, tier 3 rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm.

Using a scaled-down Mauser Mod. 1898 receiver, this hunting rifle, produced by Chernarusk Zbrojovka, uses detachable, single-stack, single row steel magazines. It is well known for its great accuracy and reliability, while still being very compact and light, making it suited for hunters and target shooters alike.
The rifle's zero is locked at 200m even with no scope. As a result, the bullet can often miss the selected target when at close range.

- The CR-527 is based on the CZ 527, a real-life compact hunting rifle produced initially as the Brno Fox, later as the CZ 527.
- The CR-527 is most likely produced by Chernarusk Zbrojovka, the same manufacturer that makes the CR-75.
- Painting this gun camouflage is somewhat bugged. It can be painted camo when adding green to black, but not vice versa. It will instead go from solid green to solid black.
