• The weapon was first announced on the DayZ Trello board on the 26th August 2016 as the CR 550, then subsequently shown in two images uploaded the following month titled 'CR 550 with Magazines'. The model and textures for the weapon were later found in the files until eventually being implemented in 1.17 on 23rd March 2022.
