ChernarusPlus is a map in DayZ. It is the first official map released with DayZ and is an updated version of the original Chernarus map for the DayZ mod.

Towns and Cities

There are five major coastal towns:

• Berezino
• Chernogorsk
• Elektrozavodsk
• Solnechny
• Svetloyarsk

Major towns off the coast include:

• Krasnostav
• Novodmitrovsk‎
• Novaya Petrovka
• Severograd
• Stary Sobor
• Zelenogorsk

There are also many smaller towns, villages, hamlets, etc. Scattered around the region, you can also find a plethora of man-made landmarks, including multiple historic castles.

Trivia

• The landscape of Chernarus is based heavily on the Czech Republic, the home country of developer Bohemia Interactive. The geography, roads, and major landmarks of Chernarus are modeled after the municipality of Povrly and its surrounding areas. Elektrozavodsk is modeled after Povrly, Solnechny after Dobkovice, Berezino after Malšovice, and so forth.
