The Christmas Tree is a seasonal item in DayZ included each year with a seasonal patch and removed afterwards when the season is over. This tradition began in 2014 with version 0.52 and is most recently visible in 1.15 in December 2021 through January 2022, and despawned on the 12:th of January 2022 during the Wednesday maintenance.
They are similar to the pre-0.62 spruce trees seen in the forests around Chernarus. The trees are decorated with ornaments and lights (though the lights do not function).
