The Cooking Stand is a type of equipment in DayZ. It can be attached to a Fireplace in order to use Cooking Pots. Its made with 2 Short Sticks, and 1 Long Stick. It can also be broken down with a Knife to create 5 Short Sticks.
Durability[]
With the 1.17 update came the addition of durability to the Cooking Pot, the Frying Pan, the Cauldron and the 2 stands the Cooking Stand, and the Campfire Tripod. All use durability at a rate of 0.0625 per second when over any kind of fire whether it be a fireplace or gas stove.
This means with a durability of 150 the Cooking Stand will go from Pristine to ruined when used over a fireplace for a total 40 minutes.

Trivia[]
- A Fireplace does not need to be upgraded with Large Stones to install a Cooking Stand.
- A Cooking Stand while is very easy to make it has a 3rd the durability of a Campfire Tripod and is two blocks longer then one to meaning it doesn't last as long, and is unable to fit in most clothing because of its longer size.
- Before 1.18 all cookware durability use was double of what it is now making cookware like the Cooking Stand last only 20 minutes from Pristine to Ruined.
