The Cupid's Bolt is a type of Crossbow ammunition in DayZ. It is a seasonal item related to the Valentine's Day event.
Gameplay[]
The Cupid's Bolt is a variant of the Bolt, and acts exactly the same except healing players upon contact instead of damaging them. Firing the Cupid's Bolt at a player generates a short-lived heart particle effect on impact, and restores the target survivor to full health, removes all diseases, cuts, blood regeneration and fractures. It is also the only remedy that can cure Brain Prion Disease (also known as Kuru).
The cupid's bolt can only be found as loot during Valentine's Day events. It spawns without area specification, and can be found anywhere in the world same as low-tier weapons.
The bolt cannot be used to damage the infected or wildlife.
