Grass Pyramid[ | ]

The Grass Pyramid was an unmarked, semi-official location on the south-western treeline of what is now Dazhbog.

The Grass Pyramid was not easy to see from a distance in any weather due to the fact that it blended in with the grass and trees around it. This, combined with its extremely out of the way location, made it possibly the least visited destination in the whole region during its time. It wasn't much, but it was worth seeing at least once. Its odd geometric shape stood in contrast to the neatness of everything else in South Zagoria. You could get a decent view of the surrounding fields if you walked to the top of the pyramid. The Pyramid was supposedly the exact centre of the map's landmass (NOT the centre of the map, which includes the water off the eastern and southern coasts). This is to serve as a marker to divide the landmass into four quadrants for development purposes.

The Grass Pyramid was removed in the 0.45 update, and was replaced with memorial of sorts - All that remained where the pyramid once stood was a small circle of concrete and a sign that said the following:

"Up until 23.04.2014, on this place stood a terrain glitch - Pyramid. - Senchi"

As of the 1.0 full release of DayZ, all traces of this once odd terrain anomaly have been removed.
