Overview[ | ]
Dean Hall was Born in Oamaru, New Zealand, May 14th 1983. Even growing up Dean had the desire to develop games, starting on a Commodore Amiga Desktop that was given to him at a young age. During his time in the Army, he was inspired by the difficulties of his survival training to create a simulation using the ArmA II engine to prepare other soldiers for the emotional hardships they may face; this idea was essentially turned down by the Army, and so Dean decided to add zombies into the game and release it to the public as an Apocalypse Survival game, one of the first in the genre.
