A versatile, strong and flexible wide adhesive tape. If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.In-game description

Duct Tape is a type of equipment in DayZ Standalone.

It can be used to craft some and repair various Clothing and Equipment items from Damaged/Badly Damaged state to Worn state.

It can also be used to restrain players, similar to Handcuffs. It is possible to unrestrain players with most sharp objects.

Trivia

As of 1.05: The "Infinite Duct Tape glitch" no longer works. This involved players restraining their own hands, and then removing the duct tape from their hands. This would completely replenish the duct tape to full value.
As of 1.09: duct tape can no longer be used to repair weapons and their attachments.
In an older version Duct Tape could be used instead of Bandages or Rags to be applied to wounds.
