It has a water pump near the houses on the eastern side. Due to it being located away from most populated areas and the small amount of loot that can be obtained it is not generally visited by survivors or bandits. It is however part of a frequently-used travel route going north from Elektrozavodsk to Mogilevka.
History[ | ]
Pusta is a town with a dark history behind its beautiful scenery. It was the location where the 27th MEU's "Razor Team" executed their first mission during the Arma 2 campaign, Operation Harvest Red. The Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star or ChDKZ separatist group was stationed here and throughout most of South Zagoria. On Friday, 9th October 2009, Pusta had a communication node and were sent in to destroy it. Razor Team reportedly found mass graves of civilians that provided further evidence of the ChDKZ's atrocities. The mass graves were dug just south of the village on a steep hill in the direction of Prigorodki.
