The Filtering Bottle serves as a specialized water container that removes all Heavy Metal Poisoning and Cholera pathogens in the water when a survivor drinks from it. Unlike Chlorine Tablets, the Filtering Bottle does not clear the water of Common Cold/Influenza, Salmonella or PO-X Poison.
Similar to real-life filtration systems, the bottle has a limited lifespan. Every litre of water drank from it reduces its health by 10 points, reflecting the gradual wear on its filter. With 100 health points in total and a capacity of 0.65 litres, the bottle can be refilled and used approximately 15 times before it becomes ruined and unusable. However, simply filling or emptying the bottle does not affect its condition, neither does this purify the water.
The Filtering Bottle can't be used to store gasoline.
