The Firefighter Jacket is a type of jacket in DayZ. It is the standard issue of the former Chernarus Fire Service. It is a desirable early game item, common in fire stations, that provides high storage and maximum insulation. It also provides a minor chemical protection against cuts caused by exposure to toxic gas in Contaminated Zones or from PO-X Vials.
