The Fireplace Kit was a piece of equipment in DayZ. It was removed in version 0.53 and its functionality was rolled into the Fireplace item.

In order to use a Fireplace you needed to put it on the ground and attach either 1x Firewood or 1x Wooden Stick to it. After that you have to light it with a match or Hand Drill Kit.
