The Flag is a base building item in DayZ. It is used to complete the Flag Pole and when raised prevents objects in a 60 meter radius from despawning. A Flag can and also be cut up for three Armbands with the same pattern as the original flag. Currently there are 33 different variants that can spawn (see Gallery).
