A standard battery powered flashlight. In-game description
The Flashlight is a type of equipment in DayZ. It creates a cone of yellowish light in front of the user to aid nighttime visibility.
The flashlight requires an 9V Battery in order to be operated. Attach the battery to the flashlight, place it in your hands, and select Turn On to use it. Use Spacebar by default to raise the flashlight for aiming. Caution should be employed when using the flashlight as it can easily reveal the player's location to other survivors.
The Flashlight consumes 0.01 energy per second and therefore consumes one battery every 83 minutes of active use.

-The flashlight is based on the real world flashlight made by My Day made in Czechoslovakia. (Note the back of the flashlight in game says May Day made in Chernarus)
