The Glow Stick is a type of equipment in DayZ. It is used as a source of light when the sun has gone down, and emits colored light that corresponds to its assigned color. The Glow Stick will glow for 3 hours once lit.
Caution is advised when using the chemlight in open areas, or when stealth is required, as it will not help you spot another player more than a few feet away however, the player with the chemlight can be easily spotted at quite some distance due to the visible glow.
