The Gun Cleaning Kit is a type of equipment in DayZ.
It can be used to repair weapons, restoring a weapon from either Damaged to Worn or from Badly Damaged to Damaged.
In order to use the cleaning kit: the player must have the weapon in their hands and drag the kit over the weapon they wish to repair and select the corresponding action.
This item can be used a limited number of times since its condition will degrade with each use.
