Small disposable heat source, keeps you warm for a limited time when put into a jacket, pants or vest. — In-game description

General

The Heat Pack is a piece of medical equipment in DayZ Standalone. They are used to keep a player warm while on the move, as opposed to having to stay near a source of heat. This is especially helpful with the v1.10 changes of wind chill when exposed outside for example.

Usage

The Heat Pack is single use and must be activated.

Once activated it needs to be put into either the vest, the jacket or the pants to warm the player. If put into any other equipment like a backpack, it won't have any affect on the player.

The duration of the Heat Pack is 20 minutes, after which it will turn into a ruined condition.
