General[]
The Heat Pack is a piece of medical equipment in DayZ. They are used to keep a player warm while on the move, as opposed to having to stay near a source of heat.
- The Heat Pack is single use and must be activated to provide warmth.
- Once activated it needs to be stored into any inventory slot. All slots will provide an equal amount of Heat Comfort benefit.
- NOTE: The pack won't have any affect, if put into attachable equipment like a pouches, hands, or inside a container like a Cooking Pot.
- Activated Heat Pack heats up to 80 °C for 20 minutes, after which it will become ruined.
