;Background
Walpurgis or "Night of the Witches" is a traditional European festival celebrated on the night of April 30th to May 1st. It has its roots in pagan customs and later became associated with the Christian feast day of Saint Walpurga. 
DayZ typically celebrates Walpurgis in April and adds large bonfires across the map that spawn items such as a broom, caldron, crooked nose, a witches hat and a witches hood.
