The Ice Axe is a type of weapon and piece of equipment in DayZ.

The Ice Axe is one of the more powerful melee weapons and can kill zombies in two hits, or one with a headshot. It can also be used to open cans of food, at the cost of durability and a portion of the food inside. This axe is also a mining tool that can be used to mine boulders for Small Stones. You can also use it to make a farming plot.
