The Improvised Shelter is a type of crafted shelter in DayZ.
Deployment[]
Deploy the Shelter Kit on even ground and attach 4 Long Wooden Sticks and 50 Short Sticks to the shelter site. Once all the required resources have been attached you are given the option to start constructing the shelter. You may have to interact with the shelter site multiple times before it is built. The finished shelter is quite hard to see in bushy environments.
Unpacking[]
You can unpack the Improvised Shelter by interacting with it while it is empty. Unpacking the Improvised Shelter will leave the shelter in a pile on the ground. Note: You will not recover all the resources from Crafting the Shelter, you will lose about 10 Short Sticks and 1 Long Wooden Stick.
