Semi-automatic, integrally-suppressed pistol, fed from a detachable magazine. Stealthy and lethal at short range. Uses .22 LR rounds. — In-game description
The MK II, is a semi-automatic integrally-suppressed handgun, chambered in .22 LR Rounds.
The MK II is one of the weakest pistols in the game, as the .22 LR is not the strongest cartridge. Taking at least 2 headshots to kill an infected and numerous bodyshots to take one down. Against animals for hunting is also not recommended as the .22 LR rounds are to weak for killing an animal reliably, except for chickens (as these are a 1 hit). As for other survivors, the MK II is one of the worst pistols in the game for PVP, with a 10 round mag and the worst cartridge makes it's a hard weapon to use effectively. The only upside being that every shot you fire has a great potential of applying the bleed effect. This means you can mortally wound a survivor and make him bleed out, as they can't bandage fast enough to stop the bleeding if you hit at least 5-7 shots.
(NOTE: This is against a player without armor, as armor gives you more protection)

Weapon attachments are any accessories or devices that attach to a firearm in order to add, improve or modify the weapon's functionality or performance. - The MK II is based on the real-world AWC Amphibian S integrally-suppressed variant of the Ruger Mk II Target .22 LR pistol, notably used by United States Navy SEALs before Mk II production ceased in 2005. The Amphibian variant has seen numerous iterations and continues to be produced with later Ruger models.
- The MK II was introduced as the Amphibia S in v0.42.116181 on 19 Mar 2014, alongside the Sporter 22, CR75 and the 1911.
