TentIn-game description

The Medium Tent is a piece of Equipment that is used to store items beyond the capacity of what the player is able to carry.

General

Tents can be used to store useful items like guns, melee weapons, backpacks, and other important supplies. They can be carried in a rolled-up form by the player or be placed in the player's inventory, however the item is very tall at 2x6 slots, so it will only fit in SPOSN, Hunting, and Mountain Backpacks and Drybags

These temporary structures are persistent and therefore tied to a server. Once deployed, they cannot be taken with you to another server, nor can any of the items inside. One must therefore empty and dismantle the telt to move it.

Easiest way to find tents

Tents spawn in places, where people really venture rarely. They are also extremely rare, meaning you have to search for how many places where they spawn, or go search up tents placed by other players, which might be the hardest thing to do, because they can be placed anywhere: in a forest in the middle of nowhere, in a building, on an island (for an example, the Skalisty Island), on a mountain side or on top of it or in/on a glitch spot in or near a structure, which could be inaccessible without the knowledge of how can you enter it or without noclip-hack. The best bet to find a tent without spending too much time is to look them from the "tall" apartment buildings.

For an example, Dubky is a good location. Here is a tutorial on how to effectively search for tents in such a way: (video tutorial included):

  • Go on the rooftop of one these buildings, go on the edge of the building and look for tents on the roof of the buildings surrounding the one you are on. (Tip: minimize the FOV to the lowest amount that is possible for the best zoom as possible)
  • If there are none on the rooftops, start looking for them through windows. Go from left to right. If none is spotted, look one storey below.
  • Once you spot the tent, keep the floor, room and everything regarding to the location of the tent in your mind, before going down to get it.
  • Enjoy your reward!
