The Heckler & Koch G36K is a carbine variant of the G36A. It is shorter than the G36A and weighs less. It is used by the German Army.
The G36A and the G36K in Arma 2 features a dual scope feature. Apart from the standard acog/zoomed scope, it can be switched to a Red-Dot/reflex sight by pressing the "/" key on the numpad (can be changed in the "controls" option). This makes the weapon versatile and effective in both close and medium ranged combat. Combined with the relatively low noise of the weapon makes it one of the most effective assault rifles in DayZ.
