Grenades are a throw-able weapon that can be found throughout Chernarus.

Throwing a frag grenade will result in a high arc that can be difficult to predict without practice. The use of a grenade on an entrenched enemy/player can cause instant death, unconsciousness, injury, or hearing loss/blurred vision that can make flanking or charging the target easier or more effective. Careful judgement about your distance to the explosion needs to be considered especially if you are throwing without cover as the damaging radius of the grenade is quite large. Grenades are very difficult to aim, and are rarely used. However, it is a good idea to keep a Grenade on your person at all times - just in case.
