The L110A1 is a light machine gun. It is almost functionally identical to the M249 SAW, except has a different sound and a different fire rate.

The L110A1 performs very much like the M249 SAW, and takes the same ammunition as well. Like all light machine guns, the L110A1 is equipped with a bipod, which drastically reduces recoil while prone. However, unlike other machine guns, when standing up or kneeling, the weapon generates only moderate recoil, so it is possible to use the weapon effectively while standing, in a pinch.
Ammunition[ | ]
The L110A1 typically uses either 100-or-200Rnd belts, but it can also feed from 30Rnd STANAG Magazines in a pinch. It will NOT accept G36 Magazines, though they can be re-combined[[1]] into STANAG magazines.
