The L85A2 is the standard rifle of the British Armed Forces. It is rare, only found at helicopter crash sites. The weapon is superior to the M16 series rifles as it posses the damage of the [[Mod:M16A2|M16A2]] but has an extended range. Its only disadvantage is that it cannot accept the [[Mod:M203|M203]] grenade launcher.

The L85A2 RIS Holo was introduced in the 1.7.5.1 patch to replace the older L85A2 AWS. The L85A2 as of patch 1.9.0 now spawns in with iron sights and no optics. It however now can be fitted with RIS Holo, ACOG, and CCO sights as well as a 5.56 suppressor.
