The Mosin-Nagant was added to the DayZ Mod in patch 1.8.4. It supports a variety of attachments, including the [[Mod:Scope]] and [[Mod:Weapon Flashlight]]; though as a standard rifle it is inferior to the Lee-Enfield and as a sniper is Inferior to the CZ550. It is also quite rare compared to rifle like the [[Mod:Lee Enfield]], though this is likely to change. At this point in time the current stats of the Mosin are unknown.

The Mosin-Nagant was developed in the late 1880s for the Russian Empire. entering service in 1891, and remained in production in the Soviet Union until 1945, and was subsequently made in china from 1953 to the early 1960s. Total production figures are estimated at 37 Million - Making it the most common Bolt-Action rifle in the world. The model ingame appears to be the M91/30, which entered production in 1929 and was the standard model during WWII.

The Mosin-Nagant was added to the DayZ Mod in patch 1.8.4. It supports a variety of attachments, including the Mod:Scope and Mod:Weapon Flashlight; though as a standard rifle it is inferior to the Lee-Enfield and as a sniper is Inferior to the CZ550. It is also quite rare compared to rifle like the Mod:Lee Enfield, though this is likely to change. At this point in time the current stats of the Mosin are unknown. A "Broken Version" can be found. at this time it is not known how to repair the weapon.
