The NBC Jacket is an item of clothing in DayZ. A full suit of NBC clothing and a respirator is required to survive in Contaminated Zones. It is possible to survive with just a respirator, but you will suffer a bleed every 15 seconds while in the contaminated zone. Due to the high-value military loot found in contaminated zones, NBC gear is highly sought after. However, because of its low inventory capacity and poor insulation, it is not ideal for constant wear.
