A stack of 8.89cm long nails. In-game description
The Nails are a type of equipment in DayZ. Boxes contain a fixed amount of 70 nails, however, the unpacked nails can be stacked up to 99. They can be combined with a Baseball Bat to make it a more potent weapon or combined with Planks to create a Wooden Crate. Nails can also be placed in an Oil Barrel to dye leather items black.
Nails are well sought after by survivors who want to partake in Base Building. Players can also take apart fences and watchtowers from the inside with a crowbar or hatchet, or take apart Wooden Crates with a hatchet.
