Note: this page covers the Standalone version of DayZ; for information on the Mod, see Mod:Olsha. Olsha is a village in the northeast corner of Chernarus. It is often used as a route between Krasnostav and Svetloyarsk.

This town is more or less in the shadow of Svetloyarsk, Thus increasing player activity dramatically in an otherwise peaceful town because of its size and its available loot

The town contains a moderate amount of houses to loot as well as being home to a water pump, a small convenience store and a chapel. Due to its location near Svetloyarsk, it is somewhat frequently visited and mostly looted by survivors passing through on their way to other more loot dense locations.

Olsha is also the name of the nearby hill from which the town derives its name. The mountain itself hosts a tall radio tower and overlooks the nearby airfield.
