== Overview ==
The '''PSO-1-1 Scope''' is a fixed 4x magnification telescopic sight compatible with KA-based rifles. It is ballistically calibrated for the [[VSS]] marksman rifle, and by extension, the [[Vikhr]] assault rifle, as they (along with the [[SVAL]], though it is incompatible with this optic) share identical ballistic characteristics, due to using the same cartridge – the subsonic [[9x39mm Rounds|9x39mm]].

If the optic is used on other KA-based rifles, such as the [[KA-M]] or the [[KA-74]], an adjustment must be made to intentionally ‘undershoot’ targets, due to the much higher muzzle velocities. The proper amount of ‘undershoot’ must then be determined through practice.

The optic features an illuminated reticle and thus requires a [[9V Battery]] for proper operation. (Otherwise, the crosshair and rangefinder are only faintly visible).

The '''PSO-1-1 Scope''' consumes 0.02 energy per second, therefore a single 9V Battery provides 42 minutes of active use.
