==General==
Petropavlovsk-Sakhalinsk is a major town and the largest settlement of [[Sakhal]], and a home to several buildings that appear nowhere else on the map. Under default settings, players never spawn in the town, but have to travel there instead.

The town consists largely of apartment blocks, industrial areas and has a very distinct port/harbor theme. It is built around a 270-degree bay, which the city surrounds on three sides. For a coastal town it has a low count of [[Rubber Boat|boat]] spawns, with a ''military-medical-heavy'' south district being the main attraction for survivors. In addition to the usual facilities found in major towns, Petropavlovsk is the only town in the map with a [[school]] building, as well as the only one with an [[Amusement Parks|amusement park]].
