Plastic Bottle Suppressor is a Weapon Attachment in DayZ Standalone.
The intended function of the Improvised Suppressor is to reduce the sound and muzzle flash produced by the weapon it is attached to when firing. This is considered semi-functional, as report of high-damage weapons, including the Mosin 9130, LongHorn, and AKM is not affected by the Plastic Bottle Suppressor. While a Plastic Bottle Suppressor will function normally as a dispersion-reducing attachment, it will not suppress the sound of such weapons.
The Plastic Bottle Suppressor will not normally survive more than one shot, and is primarily used for suppressing one shot takedowns.
