The Pouches is a piece of modular Clothing in DayZ Standalone. It can be combined with the Plate Carrier to add the capacity to carry items on the vest itself. Because of its Size of 4x2 and its capacity of 5x2 it is a great way to save inventory space even without the plate carrier.
