Rudnogorsk (Russian: Рудногорск) is a port town located on the north-east coast of Sakhal, Russia.
The town is primarily industrial, and has only half-a-dozen residential houses along the west border. The majority of Rudnogorsk consists of offices, docks and warehouses, which cover roughly three quarters of the entire settlement area. The eastern part of the docking area has been converted into a field hospital. As the coast surrounding Rudnogorsk to the south and west are both player spawn areas, the field hospital is a major source of medical supplies for new survivors and an active player conflict zone.
A notable feature of the town landscape is the ore stockpile separating the east and west districts from each other. The stockpile consists of three massive windrows (supposedly nickel from Zvezdny Nikel) spanning 250 meters in length, effectively preventing gunfire from one side of town to the other.
