The Sawed-Off BK-18 is a hunting rifle in DayZ.
Overview[]
A Sawed-Off variant of the standard BK-18, intended to make the weapon shorter and lighter, to improve ergonomics. Chambered for the 7.62x39mm cartridge.
The Sawed-Off BK-18 sacrifices direct firepower and accuracy for improved handling in tight quarters. The rifle loses its front iron sight, and has a fixed zero of 25m. This should also be considered the weapon's maximum effective range in this configuration.
Beyond that point, both damage and accuracy become unacceptable.

The Sawed-Off BK-18 has no attachment compatibility.

The Sawed-Off BK-18 is crafted by using a Hacksaw on a standard BK-18 Rifle.
