The Sawed-off BK-43 is a shotgun in DayZ.
Overview[]
A sawed-off variant of the full-sized BK-43 shotgun, lighter, shorter and easier to handle in tight quarters. This variant sacrifices the shotgun’s already questionable accuracy and range, to create a fearsome point-blank weapon.
It features the same two firing modes as its original varietal; single, when one shell is fired for every trigger pull, and double – where both shells are expended at once, dealing devastating damage to a target at close range.

The Sawed-Off BK-43 has no attachment compatiblity.
Crafting[]
With the use of a Hacksaw, the BK-43 shotgun can be modified, by filing off the barrel, and sawing off the buttstock, to create the Sawed-Off BK-43.
Trivia[]
- The Sawed-off BK-43 was first introduced as a craftable weapon as the Sawed-off Izh43 Shotgun in v0.32.114557 Alpha patch on 22nd January 2014, alongside the hacksaw and the Izh43 Shotgun.
