Simple breech loaded signal pistol. Launching flares at long distances, it can be a handy tool for communication, orientation, or just illumination. Uses flare cartridges. In-game description
The Sigma Pistol is a piece of equipment in DayZ. This gun is used to fire Flares to create a source of light. Once fired, a flare will hang in the air for a short time and light up the area around it in a glow dependent on the cartrige colour. Once it reaches the ground, it extinguishes and the light source goes out shortly after.
