The Tactical Vest, commonly referred to as a "high-cap", is a vest in DayZ Standalone. It is the only article of clothing capable of containing a PM73 RAK, SG5-K, USG-45, AKS-74U, CR-61 Skorpion, or shortened MP-133 outside of a backpack or Assault Vest with Buttpack Attached.

An Olive Tactical Vest will turn a dark green when damaged or badly damaged. While this effect is detrimental to camouflage, it can be repaired with a Leather Sewing Kit or Duct Tape.
